no quick recovery Ferrari

Ferrari is off to its worst start to a Formula One season since 1992,

and Felipe Massa is not certain the team can recover. Massa and Kimi Raikkonen finished Sunday’s Malaysian Grand Prix out of the points, as they did in the season-opener in australia last week. It was the first time since 1992 that Ferrari has gone throught the opening two races of a season without a point. Last year, Ferrari was outside the points after the first race, but bounced back with a win in Malaysia. “Last year we had a better car, so it was easy to improve things quickly and get into the fight again,”Massa said.”This time we have a difficult car so it will be a little bit more difficult.

“We need to start from zero. We need to get together to understand point by point what went wrong an try to improve everything,” Massa added. “We were not great in the past and stupid now. For sure the car is not strong enough. We need to work on that. We made some mistakes on our strategies and we need to get together and understand what went wrong.” Ferrari and Mclaren will be hoping FIA’s internation court of apeal rules next week that the diffusers on Brawn, Toyota and williams cars are illegal. If not, they face playing catch-up, both in the wind tunnels and on the race tracks
